Chapter 5: The Boss Mirror

1. Take a few minutes to think about your boss’s (or your partner’s) style. Are they open to feedback when making decisions, or do they want a “yes-man”?

2. Think back to a time when you and your boss (or partners) didn’t agree about a key decision. How could asking the question, “Can you help me understand?” have helped you to navigate that situation better? Are there specific situations in which that question might be particularly beneficial for you to ask?
